As Good As It Gets

A few years ago I had the opportunity to start lessons with Mike McGoldrick. He encouraged me to write tunes. This was the second tune I’ve ever written. He learned it and played it back to me and I remember thinking… it can’t get any better than this. Little did I know that it would even get better than that. But then I thought this is ‘As Good As It Gets’ 🙂

I started my journey into Irish/Folk music about 10 years ago. First on the whistle and about 5 years ago I started on the flute. About 3 years ago I started writing tunes and I loved it so much, that I could hardly stop writing them.
