The Open Moor

That amazing open space/open head feeling you get when you walk over Dartmoor. It feels particulary relevant now as the landowner has been trying to remove the right to wild camp there.

Alison Jones has played fiddle for many bands including The Barely Works. Swansea born, Alison now lives in Exeter where she plays with Spin 2, teaches fiddle and leads a large community band, Newtown roots band, for which she creates fun and interesting arrangements. Writing tunes is an ongoing passion for Alison and she loves how a tune takes on a life of its own when it is played by others.
